Mount Pleasant Capital Group has a long history of developing leading edge Point of Sale technology:

  • In 1989 we were the first to offer online leasing on the Prodigy Interactive Service.
  • In 1992 we introduced a DOS-based software package which allowed our vendors to calculate payments and deliver electronic applications for processing.
  • In 1995 we acquired sophisticated credit scoring technology which shortened the small ticket credit approval process from 24 hours or more to a few minutes.
  • In 1996 we developed the LeaseNOW Software. This software package provided Vendors and Customers with a tremendous amount of utility by allowing them to interface with our credit scoring system directly from the point of sale. This gave the Vendor the ability to immediately address the Customer's need for financing, and shorten the sales cycle.
  • In 1997 we began linking our vendors and affiliates to the LeaseNOW website. During this time we also added Franchise Financing to our list of service offerings. In keeping with our tradition of being product innovators we have helped thousands of franchisees acquire or start franchise businesses without using their personal residence as collateral.
  • During 1999 we upgraded and enhanced our original LeaseNOW software. LeaseNOW 2000 was re-designed to be faster, more effective, and easier to use. It was available from the website for download, or on CD-ROM. As always, LeaseNOW 2000 was FREE to capital equipment vendors.
  • In 2003, we began the process of porting the LeaseNOW application entirely to the web. Renamed RAPIDTrack, the web version allows vendors and affiliates to more closely communicate with the home office, and allows us to transmit instant information to our partners, including application information, rate changes, software updates, and news.
  • During this time we also became the first company to connect to Fair Isaac’s LiquidCredit platform using Microsoft’s ASP.NET platform. As usual, Mount Pleasant Capital Group has remained an innovator in the use of technology as it applies to the finance process.
  • In 2005, RAPIDTrack was released to the Affiliate and Vendor markets, enabling vendors to submit online applications and download documentation from the web instantly, whether they are at the point of sale or in the back office.
